That buckle has real heft to it, and you can tell it was sand cast rather than stamped. I ordered black and the Italian leather already feels broken in on day one.
That sand cast buckle has a nice heft to it that you just don't feel on stamped hardware. I've been wearing it daily for a few weeks and the leather is already softening up nicely.
The Italian vegetable tanned leather is noticeably softer than my old belt right out of the box, and the sand cast buckle has a slightly rough, handmade texture I really like. Took about two weeks since it's made to order, but worth the wait.
