The beaded fringe actually moves when you turn your head, which I wasn't expecting from photos. The wool felt is thick enough that it holds its shape even after being stuffed in a tote all day.
I've worn this to two gallery openings already and the wool felt holds its shape without any creasing. The beaded fringe is heavier than it looks in photos, which keeps it sitting right on my head. Adjustable band fit my 54cm head fine.
